Awakening Souls 417 was founded from both personal loss and personal recovery.
After losing my sister, Merissa Drummond, to addiction at just 26 years old, I made a promise to dedicate my life to helping women find hope before it was too late.
My own recovery journey taught me that lasting healing is possible when women are surrounded by structure, accountability, compassion, and a safe place to rebuild their lives. That experience became the foundation of Awakening Souls 417—a women’s recovery residence where healing continues beyond treatment and every woman is encouraged to grow with dignity, purpose, and hope.
We believe every woman deserves more than sobriety. She deserves the opportunity to rediscover her identity, rebuild meaningful relationships, restore her confidence, and create a life she is proud to live.
At Awakening Souls 417, we are committed to walking alongside each woman as she builds a strong foundation for lasting recovery and a brighter future.

At Awakening Souls 417, we envision a world where no woman is denied the opportunity to recover because she lacks a safe place to call home, the support to keep moving forward, or someone who believes in her potential.
Our vision is to create a recovery community where women are empowered to heal emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually while rebuilding lives rooted in hope, purpose, accountability, and lasting freedom.
We strive to be more than a recovery residence. We aspire to become a place where brokenness is met with compassion, where fear is replaced with confidence, and where every woman is reminded that her past does not define her future.
As our mission grows, so does our commitment to removing barriers to recovery through scholarship opportunities, community partnerships, and unwavering support for women who are ready to change their lives. We envision a future where every bed represents another life restored, every graduate represents another family healed, and every success story inspires another woman to believe recovery is possible.
This vision was born from both personal recovery and profound loss. It is carried forward in loving memory of Merissa Drummond, whose life continues to inspire our commitment to helping women find hope before it is too late.
At Awakening Souls 417, we believe recovery creates a ripple effect. When one woman heals, families are restored, children witness hope, communities grow stronger, and future generations are forever changed.
Our vision is simple:
To awaken hope, restore dignity, empower women, and build a future where recovery transforms lives—one woman, one family, and one generation at a time.
